Put the two together, and Destination Explained was born.

This is my personal travel journal. A place where I break down cities and places through maps, share what I’ve learned from places I’ve visited, and research destinations still on my bucket list.

Instead of just telling you where to go, I want to help you understand how a destination fits together, i.e. where to stay, how to get around, what to see, what to eat, and how to plan a memorable trip.
